SYNOPSIS
The morning after reconciling with his adult child, a father wakes to find the peace he dreamed of may not be what it seems.

ROLES
TARA (lead, 20-25, all ethnicities, any gender identity)
Tara is a nursing student with a hint of punk in their demeanor. Although their father’s abandonment has left them guarded, they treat those allowed into their inner circle with immense love and a touch of sarcasm. Now that their father is their only living relative, the strength of these protective walls is being tested. A motorcycle endorsement is preferred, though not required. Physical intimacy requirements include kissing and cuddling while fully clothed. ESTIMATED DAYS: 6

MATTIE (supporting, 40-50, all ethnicities, female)
Mattie’s rough-around-the-edges exterior brings a high energy to every room she enters, often to a polarizing degree. Some may call her a hedonist, while others see her as simply playful and childlike. Buried deep beneath this facade, however, is an even more powerful nihilism that dictates her every move, particularly when it comes to Tara’s father. Physical intimacy requirements include kissing and cuddling while fully clothed. ESTIMATED DAYS: 4

ERIK (supporting, 30-35, all ethnicities, male)
Average height with lean to average build. Tara’s significant other. Erik achieved rapid success following law school. He is charming and was born with a silver spoon, something those he befriends often find threatening. He sees this trend and hates it, forcing him to strive even harder to attain their approval. The role requires one scene wearing only underwear. Physical intimacy requirements include kissing and cuddling while fully clothed. ESTIMATED DAYS: 4
